Focus on Questions, Connections & Solutions

How can we engage students to think for selves through implementing art projects that will incite critical thinking and problem solving for the 21st century?

I want my research project to focus on an art curriculum that will harvest creative, innovator thinkers for the future.

Choice-based studio, assessment, empathy, ethics, metaphors, expressionism, senses, awareness, imagination, look, explore, create, innovate, open ended questions, entrepreneur, community, identity, global, technology, connections, techniques, mediums, art history, artists, architecture, visual culture, design thinking, collaboration, national and state standards, integrate academics.

Possible solutions:

Implement a choice-based studio environment.

Build technology into the art studio.

Create a template for art lesson plan for 21st century art education.

Create assessment templates for 21st century art education.
